How do I cancel my subscription or free trial?

Subscriptions are billed by Apple, so cancellation happens on your iPhone: open Settings โ†’ your name โ†’ Subscriptions โ†’ Cal Cal โ†’ Cancel. If you cancel during the 7-day trial, you won't be charged.

Can I get a refund?

Refunds for App Store purchases are handled by Apple. Visit reportaproblem.apple.com, sign in with your Apple ID, and request a refund for Cal Cal.

A scan got my meal wrong โ€” what do I do?

Tap the entry in your diary to edit anything: the name, weight (grams or ounces โ€” macros rescale automatically), individual macros, or the meal it belongs to. Adding a short dish-name hint before scanning also improves accuracy a lot.

How do I change my calorie or macro goals?

Go to Settings in the app. You can edit your daily calorie and macro targets directly, or update your personal details and pace to have the plan recalculated for you.

How do I connect Apple Health?

Open Settings in the app and enable Apple Health. Cal Cal will read your steps and active calories, and you can choose whether exercise calories are added back to your daily budget.

How do I delete my data?

Open Settings โ†’ Reset in the app to erase your diary, weight history and plan from your device. See our Privacy Policy for details on what we store.
